• ❌Keystrokes or sensitive activity tracking

The extension may locally process limited webpage information only for core functionality, including:

• webpage URL (origin and pathname)
• selected webpage element text snippets
• CSS selectors / XPath
• note content created by the user

This data is:

• stored locally using chrome.storage.local
• never transmitted to external servers
• never used for tracking, analytics, or advertising
• fully controlled by the user

The extension temporarily accesses webpage content only when the user actively creates or views notes attached to webpage elements.

Examples:

• selected text snippets
• element structure
• page title
• favicon

This access is strictly required for:

• anchoring notes to webpage elements
• restoring notes on revisit
• selector recovery when website structure changes

No webpage content is collected remotely or shared externally.
